One of the rankings we watch and cite regularly here at Japan HEO is the top500 list of supercomputers. In the latest rankings (published Nov. last year), Japan failed to place a supercomputer in the top 30. The highest rank for Japan is 31. Meanwhile, China gets one into the top 5.
